FIRST CALL FOR VIDEO

ART FESTIVAL

“LA TOSTADORA”, in collaboration with the Museum of postmodern art of Pereira, invites the visual filmmakers, artists, visual designers, filmmakers and others with or without training in the arts; to the  FIRST CALL–ART FESTIVAL, *LA TOSTADORA*.

The invitation will receive audiovisual projects under the concept of "Art Festival", where is involved the body and its actions. This is done under the support of the Museum of postmodern art of Pereira and its performative research hotbed.

CONDITIONS

1. Participation: Open to all filmmakers, Colombian or foreigners, residing anywhere in the world.

2. Nature of Works: May be presented with a maximum of three works (video), under the concept of "ART FESTIVAL," where the body necessarily be involved. The works entered must be original.

3. Storage and transmission characteristics: The video has no limit on the length of time, and must weigh up to 10mb that can be sent via email, you can write on any file Mp4, Avi, Wmv, Mov, Mpeg and others (or Winrar compressed file, which must not exceed 10MB). Or you can upload your work on platforms such as Youtube or Vimeo and send us the url of the participant video or videos, so that we can download them.

4. Deadline: Registration takes place from 31 October until 29 November 2010, the participant should download the registration form on the bloghttp://latostadora.blogspot.com/ (DOWNLOAD FORM CLICKING HEREhttp://www.mediafire.com/?yoawq0eus39iquq ) fill it and send along with the videos you want to participate (or alternatively the URL of the uploaded videos) before the date named above e-mail: latostadora@hotmail.com

5. Duties and Responsibilities: * It will be selected a maximum of 40 videos to pass the call.

* All videos that are sent and participate in the exhibition remain under the ownership of the historical record of the Museum of postmodern art of Pereira.

6. Opening and Exhibition: The First Call for video, “Arts Festival” from “LA TOSTADORA” will open on December 3rd, 2010, 8:00 pm at the Museum of postmodern art of Pereira. (Date subject to changes)

* All videos selected for the sample will be displayed in an art-festival, organized by the Museum of postmodern art of Pereira, art-festival in which all participants are invited to attend. The festival will be broadcast live via the Internet.

7. Additions to rules: The organizers are not responsible for the meanings, interpretations, materials and / or consequences that may have the contents of the participants’ works.
